ICONIQ Strategic Partners Inks $570 for its Third Fund

Silicon Valley venture capital firm ICONIQ Strategic Partners has raised $570.44 million for its third fund, according to an SEC filing. No target was listed on the document.

The San Francisco-based venture firm, founded in 2013 by Will Griffith, a former executive at Technology Crossover Ventures, specializes in growth investments. In 2012, Griffith left his position as general partner at TCV after 12 years with the firm. He went on to work with a robust list of companies including 2Wire, MoneyExpert, Orbitz and Whitepages.

In January of 2017, ICONIQ Strategic Partners raised $40 million for a co-investment which was not identified. It is not yet clear whether the venture firm, which does not yet have a web presence, has ties to San Francisco-based registered investment advisor Iconiq Capital, which lists private clients such as Mark Zuckerberg and Sherly Sandberg.
